It’s the Small Things….#beinvolved
do's and don'ts, selective randomness

This morning I called my son before school to lecture and remind him of a couple of assignments that were missing in Powerschool. Powerschool is a electronic portal available to parents to view grades and assignments. A much-needed tool for the transition to sixth grade.
When I mentioned the two assignments, he had already had them completed and planned to submit them today. I literally had tears in my eyes as I hung up the phone and told him I loved him as I always do. My heart smiled as a single tear of joy, hope, and relief slowly made it’s way down my cheek.

Let this post encourage you. Celebrate the small victories and allow them to remind you of why you continue to “go hard” for your children. They’re listening. They’re watching.
Thank you for those wonderful words of encouragement. You are so right. Its the small victories that mean so much. The maturity that shows up one day when you think your talking to your little boy but you’re really talking to a man.
